For more then a 100 years, up to 50 nuns were living and working at the monastery of St. Elisabeth Hospital in Lörrach, Germany. Due to the diminishing interest of women pursuing a life of devotion, there are now only five sisters left in the convent. They will stay in a place that they have called home for decades until they can no longer. They will be the last sisters living there. The uncertainty of the hospital´s future represents a common problem in Germany, where many health institutions are run by religious organisations. 2010-2016 Lörrach, Germany
